ALTANA is a group of companies with four business divisions—BYK, ECKART, ELANTAS, and ACTEGA—each of which holds a leading position in its respective market. Our solutions enable, for example, the recycling of packaging, make battery production more efficient, and help ensure that the world's largest wind turbines can generate green electricity for decades. With more than 8,000 employees worldwide, the ALTANA Group generated sales of over 3 billion euros in 2025. Of this, approximately 7 percent is invested in research and development each year.
